If you can find them, maybe you can buy The A-Team merchandise

They are the best, and they specialize in the ridiculous.
The A-Team may have lost out to rival eighties remake The Karate Kid at the box-office, but for fans of adrenaline-filled action films it’s a hit. From flying tanks to big explosions, it’s got everything your average guy wants from a summer movie. The cast also appeals to our macho side, with Liam Neeson taking over George Peppard’s Hannibal, The Hangover’s Bradley Cooper as Face (previously played by Dirk Benedict), newcomer Sharlto Copley (District 9) as Murdock (previously Dwight Schultz) and mixed martial arts fighter Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson filling Mr. T’s particularly large shoes as B.A. Baracus.
But how do you update an iconic TV show like The A-Team without running over everyone’s toes with your armoured car? Well the movie, which has been in development since the mid-nineties, has changed the gang from Vietnam vets to Iraq war one’s, instantly updating the premise. They’ve still been detained for a ‘crime they didn’t commit’ and manage to escape, but this time they’ve got someone different on their tale – Captain Charisa Sosa (Jessica Biel). Not only does she have to catch these guys as part of her job, but as one of Face’s exes she’s holding a grudge (typical!) Will she soften to her one-time lover or will that make her more determined to lock him and the team up? You’ll have to check out the film!
Making the film was fun according to the guys, and girl, because they all got along. But it wasn’t easy work, with most of them receiving injuries at one point or another. Bradley says: “There was one scene where…I tore my hamstring. I found myself discovering new bruises every time I came home at night. Epsom Salts were my savior on this movie. I still have a scar from the butt of the M4. I still have it from the training. Yeah, I got banged up on this movie.” And Liam didn’t get off lightly either, as he tore his rotator cuff in the first week! But of course it was all worth it to be part of such an iconic franchise, with all saying they’d be back for a sequel if it did well (we’re not so sure that’ll be happening).
Whether you’re a fan of the original line-up or the new guys in The A-Team, we’ve found some pretty awesome merchandise for you. There’s a remote controlled A-Team van which we cannot wait to play with, and one that comes with action-figures of the crack commando unit. Add to that a couple of cool looking tees and posters and you’ve got yourself a pretty good haul. Now you just need to get yourself an actual A-Team van!
