Fashion focused Twifans couldn’t help but fall in love with all the gorgeous items on show in last year’s Twilight. For those looking to vamp it up as a Cullen, a whole replica range of their Cullen crest goodies was released, inviting everyone to flaunt their inclusion in the coolest (literally!) gang in Forks (get yours at Related Content, right). However, for those looking for a little splash of Bella (Kristen Stewart) style, it proved tougher with fans reduced to hunting down vague lookalikes or making their own versions of our heroine’s tempting trinkets. Here at Boxwish HQ, we’re not sure who would win in a face-off between Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and Twilight’s Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). The boy wizard’s got magic on his side along with two devoted chums in Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson), while the ice-cool vamp is immortal, can read minds and is backed up by the Cullen clan. It’s a toughie and we’re not ashamed to say has led to some heated debates, however it seems a lot more cut and dried for Aussie youngsters who have voted in their numbers in favour of the Stephenie Meyer vampire and his world.

The Exorcist writer talks up possible TV mini-series

Okay, so we get that many of the movies currently being mentioned as possible TV shows are very in vogue and current. There was director Roland Emmerich talking up the possibility of his current blockbuster 2012 hitting the small screen and also discussed a few months back as a TV contender was literary tear-jerker, The Time Traveler’s Wife (see Related Content, right). But what really baffles us is the planned resurrection of past films that have long deserted the limelight. We’re talking Teen Wolf and Heathers and especially the latest to jump aboard this network bandwagon – The Exorcist. Yes, Regan could be pea-souping her mum and scaring priests in your living room soon according to William Peter Blatty, the author and subsequent screenwriter of the supernatural spine-chiller.

She cruises through her academic studies (winning the Golden Onion prize in biology class, no less), loves her classic literature (such as Wuthering Heights) and is the only girl in decades to charm immortal heartthrob Edward (Robert Pattinson). Not bad going! She also realises pretty quickly that the clothes she wore back in sunny Phoenix, Arizona aren’t going to cut it now that she’s moved to rainy Forks, and adapts her wardrobe for the daily onslaught of drizzle. And standing out among these winter warmers are the UGG Adirondack boots she dons in both Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which we just can’t get enough of!

Sometimes there’s seemingly no difference between onscreen and offscreen. Just look at the whole Twilight business. Edward and Bella are inseparable and loved-up onscreen and offscreen there are rumours that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are likewise. Sure, it might all just be gossip and speculation, but often we like to imagine that what we see at the cinema is the same as real life. And it’s not just us, the viewers that enjoy blurring this line as many Hollywood stars take it a step further by wearing their actual movie costumes in their everyday lives. Just a few months ago, Cameron Diaz admitted she loves stepping out as herself in her Being John Malkovich costumes (see Related Content, right) and now Jesse Eisenberg, rising star of Zombieland and Adventureland (he likes his “lands”) has spoken of his penchant for pinching screen clothes, a tendency that can prove embarrassing…

In Twilight, the Nomad vampires were the resident bad guys on the block, however with The Twilight Saga: New Moon all that changes with the introduction of the fearsome Volturi. Not that Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) and Laurent (Edi Gathegi) are disappearing into the background, oh no siree. The pair has split up and is no longer joined in their rank by James (Cam Gigandet), but their fashion focus is undiminished albeit with a few changes from the last time we saw them.
