It’s still months and months away, but it seems that we just can’t get enough of the fashions of Sex and the City 2. Already expectations are high for the follow-up to last year’s summer smash and, with revelations from the movie’s cast, it’s no wonder appetites are being well and truly whetted. Just yesterday, we told you about Kristin Davis’s admission that there are fewer costumes in the sequel (see Related Content, right), and now teen star, Miley Cyrus, who will be making a cameo in the film as herself at a red carpet bash, has been spilling the style secrets.

Photographs taken of the teen star on-set have revealed that she will appear in a Matthew Williamson dress, namely the gorgeous ‘futuristic sequin cocktail dress’, which will also be seen on Kim Cattrall’s sexy siren, Samantha as they both attend the glitzy premiere of Heart of the Desert, a film starring Samantha’s sometime boyfriend Smith (Jason Lewis).

We expect plenty of comedy from this startling showbiz faux pas, and Miley has confirmed that she loved the dress but “didn’t get to keep the dress because they need it for Kim.” She did, however, receive one happy perk as compensation: “I got to keep the necklace,” she added. "The necklace is cool. It’s, like, these giant spikes, and I wanted to wear it while I was performing. My mom was like, “That could be dangerous… You can’t wear that onstage.”"

Whether she wears it onstage or not, these more mature, raunchy items definitely make a change from her wholesome image as Disney pin-up, Hannah Montana. What would dad, Billy Ray make of them?
