Tsk, tsk – those naughty boys Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (Seann William Scott) certainly get up to mischief in new comedy Role Models. Danny’s rude and grumpy, Wheeler’s often drunk or high on drugs, but despite their bad behaviour and bad attitudes they do have one thing in their favour – the 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab FX4 they drive around in as salesmen for energy drink Minotaur. Hate your job or not, this beats any other company car we’ve ever seen and so we proudly crown the Ford Super Duty F-250 our auto of the week.

Nicknamed the “Minotaur-mobile”, it’s a black beast that definitely means business. Its black paintwork is dominated by the scowling face of a minotaur blowing steam out of nostrils and surrounding licks of flame, while other modifications include minotaur horns on the top, a nose-ring on the bull bars that shoots “fire” from the “nostrils” and a massive can of the drink on the back. It’s not subtle, won’t fit in your garage and will earn some odd stares but this heavy-built commercial truck is not to be messed with.

A third generation Ford Super Duty, this 2008 carries over many features from the 2005 – 07, second generation such as the 3-valve 5.4 L Modular V8 engine, trailer brake controller and 4 AUX Upfitter switches and with its heavy-duty body-on-frame steel ladder frame, this is one mighty road warrior you might want to give a wide berth.
