Boxwish is taking a break

Hi there Boxwishers, thanks for stopping by.

As many of you may have noticed, in June of 2010 we stopped adding new content to our site. After two incredible years we decided to take a break.

Since launching Boxwish back in mid-2008 we have been on a movie-inspired roller-coaster, acquiring tens of thousands of new Boxwishers along the way and getting some really great press, both in the UK and US. Unfortunately however we just couldn’t figure out the best way to make Boxwish a successful business, so we decided to take an indefinite break and work on some other ventures.

In the meantime we’ve turned the site into an archive, with over 1000 of the articles that we wrote whilst the site was live. Some of the articles are quite old so apologies for any broken links etc.

Lastly, a big thank you to all those who supported Boxwish, all those who contributed and for the amazing feedback you gave us, it was very much appreciated.

We had a big vision – to bring movies to life – and for a while at least, we achieved it.
