Take a road trip with the sunglasses from The Hangover

Everyone knows a good pair of sunglasses can be a Hangover cure.

For those of you who haven’t seen The Hangover yet – go watch it now. And for everyone else (which is probably 90% of people) we’ve picked out the best sunglasses from the movie, which is nearly all of them. Having spent a pretty exciting night in Las Vegas, the stag partiers have no recollection of what happened the night before. They spend the following day trying to work it out, in a sort of bizarre hung-over-detective style.

The style of sunglasses in The Hangover varies from classic cool to retro to unusual, but they have all become sought after (almost as much as Alan’s t shirt!) We’ll kick off with Phil’s (Bradley Cooper) Ray-Bans, which are unusual since they have red tinted lenses. Phil is a laid back teacher who’s unhappy with his married life, and heads to Vegas with the rest of the stag party. Ray-Ban doesn’t make any aviators with these lenses so some have speculated that they are custom made (although they could just be another brand). However, they do make pink tinted lenses, which are almost the same so we’ve found those.

Next up we’ve got Doug’s (Justin Bartha) sunglasses – another classic pair of Ray-Bans, this time Wayfarers. Unlike Phil, Doug’s are in the traditional colours – a black frame with a slightly green tinted lens. Unfortunately Doug spends most of the film roasting on the roof, but his glasses look great with a tan!

We’ve even managed to dig out the glasses worn by the campest gangster ever Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong), who when we first meet him isn’t wearing them (or anything else!) Being a camp gangster, Chow has some ultra-cool sunglasses from John Varvatos in a very unusual shape.

But the most sought after glasses are worn by the most unlikely fashion inspiration – Alan. With his unruly hair, tight t-shirt and ‘satchel’ he might not look like someone you see in Vogue, but his style has certainly caught on. His plastic sunglasses are made by BluBlocker, a brand known for their sun-blocking glasses. He opts for the tortoise shell frames (naturally) and teams them with his Human Tree t-shirt, baby carrier and man-bag. Pick up a pair of these shades and head to Vegas!
