We all love to have a play with the latest hi-tech gadgets (the iPad being the fanciest new trinket on the market), those impressive new bits of kit that we soon find we can’t live without – and it’s a good job too considering how much they cost! But we don’t always have to go down the swanky, expensive route. Sometimes it’s more fun to mess about with a gadget that’s a silly distraction rather than a way of life and that’s exactly what you get with a talking keychain.
Keychains are one of those must-have necessities (how else are you gonna lump all your keys together?) that we so often overlook. You get given them free with other stuff or bought for you as a little gift, yet you don’t just have to make do with whatever keychain heads your way as there are so many fun and novel ones to choose from. Get one which better expresses your personality, that you’re proud to flaunt in public and er, quotes your fave TV shows. Yes, when it comes to goofy keychains, we love the talking ones.
And coming top of the heap in talking keychains is the ‘In Your Pocket’ range. Manufactured and sold by toys company, Underground Toys, the ‘In Your Pocket’ range simply and effectively unleashes familiar phrases and sounds at the touch of a button. They most commonly have six different buttons and an accompanying noise which blares out, each one guaranteed to be noticed.
Over 2.5 million ‘In your Pockets’ have been sold since their introduction a few years back and as their popularity has soared, so their range has increased. This year, they’re launching their ‘Sound Blaster’ collection for younger fans tying in with the likes of kiddie cartoon Ben 10, but we prefer something a little more adult and so have rounded up some of the coolest TV-inspired ones out there.
Looking for a laugh? Grab the Family Guy, South Park and Three Stooges versions. In need of nostalgia? Summon up Lion-O and his feline friends with the Thundercats one or get tough with Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and the CTU team thanks to the 24 chain.
Great fun whether people know it’s you or not! Enjoy the possibilities…
