Scarlett Johansson is one of the most gorgeous actresses in Hollywood today, and she’s continuing to boost her career by starring in the latest comic-adapted blockbuster Iron Man 2. She started small in movies like Manny & Lo and The Horse Whisperer, but it was her performance in graphic novel adaptation Ghost World which really showed off her acting talents, and by the time she got the part of Charlotte in Lost in Translation she was becoming a household name.
Scarlett was so determined to get the role of Natasha Romanoff that she dyed her blonde hair dark red before the audition. Replacing Emily Blunt in the role, she had to train hard to play the ass-kicking double agent, but she managed to keep her trademark curves, as seen in her super tight leather catsuit. While we like the figure hugging outfit, we don’t think it’s all that practical for an average day at the office, so it’s her outfits as Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr) personal assistant Natalie Rushman that we’re looking at today.
Natasha, or the Black Widow, first appeared a year after Iron Man in the Marvel comic Tales of Suspense and she’s been living up to her namesake since then. When Tony fears for his life, he appoints his current assistant Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) as CEO of Stark Industries and hires Natasha to take her place. Pepper is not happy about the intelligent, beautiful, boxing Natasha taking her role (or her man) but she can’t do much when Tony wants something.
And it’s no surprise he wants her (or ‘one’ as he puts it), in the trailer alone we saw Natasha in a tight leopard print dress, a leather catsuit and some super sexy work wear. We loved her gorgeous square neck shift dress so we’ve found some similar one’s so you can play dress up too. But remember Natalie/Natasha isn’t always who she seems, so be careful. Watch her sort-of interview with Tony and Pepper below.
Does Scarlett wear the Black Widow suit well?
