Jennifer Kornfeldt (Katherine Heigl) is a beautiful, blonde computer tech who’s recently gone through a bad break-up. Spencer Aimes (Asthon Kutcher) is a hot CIA agent used to exotic locations, gorgeous girls and flashy cars. But all that changes when they bump into each other in France. After a couple of successful dates it’s obvious this is no rebound or holiday romance, and they fall in love and get married. Sounds like the perfect relationship, right? Spencer quit his high risk job, not that he ever told Jen, and settled down into married life.
Three years on and Spencer is turning thirty, life is still going well for the blissfully happy couple. That is until they learn that there’s a multi-million dollar hit out on the ex-agent. While Jen tries to take in the news that her perfect husband used to be an ass-kicking agent, they both have to deal with the fact that they’ve been watched for the last few years, and the bad guys could be anyone. Friends, neighbours and shop-workers all come under suspicion as the experienced Spencer and terrified Jen fight off the assassins from all angles.
Killers comes from director Robert Luketic, who also directed 21 and The Ugly Truth, with Katherine. This might not be a film with an intellectual plot or clever twist, but it’s got a bit of everything. There’s romance and Ashton Kutcher for us girls, and plenty of high-adrenaline action for the guys – the perfect date movie.
And with Katherine Heigl back to her blonde bob we love her style in Killers, its smart work wear meets super-spy. The basic outfit is pretty simple; a cream tank, black pencil skirt and gold heels, just your typical office outfit. But add to that a pair of cats-eye sunglasses, a safari-style jacket and red paisley scarf and she’s starting to look the part. In one poster she’s looking over her shades with her collar turned up – it seems she’s taking to the spy life better than Spencer had thought. Get Jen’s sexy secret agent look with our great lookalikes.
